Devil May Cry 4 Special Edtion - Updates

Well this is odd. It appears that the release time we had originally been informed of was, as it appears, incorrect. If you are having a hard time accessing it then the likely problem is that the release time is, from what I've been hearing, 9AM; at least that is what is being passed around in the Steam community. Our sincere apologies for this delayed and possibly incorrect information from earlier gang. I have literally spent the last two hours looking into this for us all.

So once again that is a release time of, from what has been heard, 9AM today, June 23rd 2015. Sorry about that!

Welp, that's it gang! The game should be playable as of 12:00am so get at it! Let us know what you think when you manage to pry yourselves from your screens for a moment ;D

The game is released for play at 12:00am TONIGHT in North America, don't miss out! ;D

The countdown continues gang~! 5 more days until Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is released in North America! For those of you in Japan you should already have seen your release of DMC4: SE today ;D If you haven't grabbed your copy we encourage you to do so!! Remember guys this release will decide whether or not the series ever continues so lets show our support for the games!!

There is still time to pre-order your copy of DMC4: SE as well to get those bonus pre-order costumes for Lady and Trish ;D For those of you looking for the PC release you can find it on Steam otherwise it will be released via XBox One and PlayStation 4.

So it's finally getting down to crunch time guys and gals. Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition is due for release this month and with the clock ticking down to we figured it was high time to update about it.

The games is slated for release on the XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 18th in Japan with both a physical and digital release. The game hits North American shores on June 23rd with a digital release only and retails at $24.99 with pre-orders on now that, from what we've heard, include pre-order bonus costumes for Lady and Trish.

The game is loaded with new features including new costumes for the characters such as Nero's prototype costume, Legendary Dark Knight Dante and Vergil and Ex Colour Variations.
The game also boasts a new auto save feature so it now saves automatically every time you clear a story mission, an increased item acquisition rate and a turbo mode to increase the games speed by a factor of 1.2.

The games also has add-on content such as proud souls and game modes that are available for purchase by playing the game on Devil Hunter mode and above or by purchasing it as add-on content.

It has also been heard through the grape vine that if this instalment to the Devil May Cry series doesn't sell well enough we may not see another instalment to the franchise.

If that is the case then we need to promote the crap out of the game here gang. Lets show Capcom that the original series is still as popular as ever!
